I love to explore the world and introduce Canadians to the wonders of the natural world.  I have organized and guided - tours in Scotland, historical tours through Cambodia and Vietnam and photo journeys in the National parks of Kenya, Tanzania and beyond. I spent the first half of my career working in the mainstream journalism business - as a television news anchor, reporter and foreign correspondent. With television crews, I traveled into places like Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Vietnam and Cambodia, focusing my reporting on Canadians working in the developing world and making a difference in the lives of marginalized people. 

 

In 2002, I founded Cielo Pictures Ltd. so that I could pursue international documentary work full-time.  I wanted to tell the bigger 'stories that mattered' to the large television audience that I, as a freelance producer, had access to.  That has taken me to more than 70 countries on 6 continents, producing documentaries, not for profit fundraising videos and many corporate videos for various clients.

No longer working mainstream media, I am living my dream of introducing travels to some of the most amazing places on the planet.
