WWine, Women and Wilds of Africa

5 Women - an endless supply of South African wine and journey into the wilds of East and Central Africa! The journey began with spectacular game drives in Kenya then on to Parc Du Volcans in Rwanda - trekking to visit the Mountain Gorillas, made famous by Dian Fossey.

This was a safari like none other that we have been on before!

Western Kenya - Family Adventure

and Volunteer Projects

This was an amazing expedition that started with a journey to Mount Kenya and outstanding game drives at Ol Pajeta. In the evening, as the sun was setting we were able to watch wildlife gathering at the waterhole right in front of our luxury tents.

The Hass Family (Darrel, Susan, Elizabeth and Brendan) and their good friends  Don and Gwen Campbell were on what they called a "Once in a lifetime adventure".   From Mount Kenya we drove into the Great Rift Valley stopping at Lake Naivasha and Crescent island where we went on a walking safari (no predators on the island!)

We spent two nights at a wonderful lodge, with hippo's and giraffe's wandering on the grounds! After a buffet breakfast on the third day we drove to Hells Gate National Park and trekked into Devils Gorge. The day ended at the Enaidura Bush Camp on the Maasai lands and 4 days of camping in a deluxe camp with an outstanding chef, great sundowners, visits with the Maasai community and volunteer work on a school and community development project, supported by the Nairoshi Foundation and a Canadian school charity supported by the Hass family.   This was a great family adventure!

Men's Expedition

Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi

3 Canadian adventure seekers - a guide and a private plane. It started with a fly-in, private safari  on the Maasai Mara in Kenya - followed by some bush camping and a visit to a humanitarian project on the Loita Plains.

From Kenya, we took off for Rwanda and gorilla tracking.  We got up close and personal with a gorilla family before heading back to the plane and off to visit a Rotary Club development project in Burundi.
