Africa Expeditions


With a decade of experience in travelling and documentary film making in Sub-
Saharan Africa, Rick Castiglione is now leading private expeditions into East Africa.

As an experienced journalist/interpreter, Rick can take you “off the beaten track”
away from the sight-seeing buses – backpackers and tourist traps.





















Some of the possibilities are:

  • See wildlife in their natural environment on the Maasai Mara, Kenya               
    - Lions, Giraffe, Elephant Herds, Zebra’s, Cheetahs and Rhino, Wildebeast,
    from the comfort of your own Safari Land Cruiser.
  • Birdwatching on Lake Nakuru.
  • Spend days living among the Maasai – learning about their culture.  
  • Visit humanitarian/development projects – a community school, health clinic
    and outreach programs.  
  • Stay in luxury lodges or camp, under the stars, among the Maasai.
  • A sunrise, hot air balloon flight over the famous – Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
  • Trek into the forests of Parc National Des Volcans (Rwanda) to visit a Gorilla
    family. (This is where Dian Fossey lived and worked with the Mountain
    Gorilla’s).
  • An elephant safari or white water rafting on the Zambezi river, just above
    Victoria Falls.
  • Fly in your own chartered aircraft, landing on grass airstrips.

















Video highlights of your expedition will be edited into your own DVD documentary,
upon our return home.
